Kulgam: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Kulgam, Iqbal Hussan, has issued a firm directive to private coaching institutes in the district, urging them to adhere to established government regulations. The directive follows concerns about non-compliance with various norms governing these institutions.
In a statement, CEO Hussan emphasized that the government has formed a specialized committee tasked with inspecting and overseeing key aspects of private coaching centers. These include ensuring proper registration, effective heating systems, clear fee structures, and maintaining appropriate facility standards. Hussan made it clear that any institution found violating these regulations will face severe consequences.
The committee’s primary role is to ensure that coaching institutes provide a safe and conducive learning environment for students, in alignment with government standards. CEO Hussan also expressed concern over the issue of government teachers operating private coaching institutes during the winter break, a practice that is strictly prohibited by government orders. He emphasized that any teacher found violating this rule would face strict disciplinary action.
The education department reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency, accountability, and high operational standards across all educational institutions in Kulgam, ensuring the integrity of the education system is preserved.
