Budgam, Jan 21: Traffic Police today initiated action against traffic violators and challaned over 20 drivers for wrong parking.
As reported earlier by the news agency Kashmir News Trust that drivers in Beerwah town park their vehicles outside the key public offices and facilities, including the Sub-District Hospital, tehsil office, R&B department, and police station, all within a kilometer of the main town.
On Tuesday, Traffic Police in order to curb the wrong parking menace, launched a special drive in Beerwah Town.
“Special focus was given to Sub-District Hospital R&B and Tehsil office. During the special drive, 20 traffic violators were chalaaned and these vehicles were seized.”
An official requested the commuters to desist from wrong and obstructive parking and park their vehicles only at the designated parking places to avoid inconvenience. [KNT]
