Kulgam, Jan, 25:In preparation for Republic Day celebrations, security measures have been heightened in Kulgam district. Under the supervision of Subzar Ahmad, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Kulgam, and on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam, comprehensive security checks are being carried out across key locations.
These enhanced security protocols aim to ensure the safety of residents and visitors as the nation prepares to celebrate the 74th Republic Day. Police forces are conducting thorough vehicle checks, frisking, and surveillance operations at strategic points in the district. Authorities have urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies during these checks and remain vigilant.
In addition to the security checks, intelligence gathering and patrolling have been strengthened to prevent any untoward incidents. The security measures come as part of a larger effort to maintain law and order and ensure peaceful celebrations across the region.
