Shopian, 30 January 2025: SSP Shopian, Shri Anayat Ali Chowdhary (IPS), chaired a joint security review meeting with CRPF officers at the Conference Hall of DPO Shopian.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the overall security scenario of the district. The session was attended by all GOs of the district, Commanding Officers of CRPF 14th & 178th Battalions, all ACs of CRPF 14 & 178 bns ,all SHOs, and IC PP’s of District Shopian.
SSP Shopian stressed upon proper coordination & professionalism between police and other securtity agencies especially CRPF in dealing with anti terror operations,law and order situations. He emphasized the increased need for vigilance and proactive measures to prevent any untoward incidents in the district . He also directed that additional security arrangements be put in place at vulnerable locations, vital installations ,minority pockets followed by regular briefing ,debriefing to enhance sense of safety and security among masses & minorities.
Following the meeting, the CRPF 14th & 178th Battalions presented beautifull demonstration of modern automatic combat weapons, other important equipmnts , weapon tactics to joint QATs of CRPF & SOG personnel of district police shopian in order to enhance their operational Competence.
