Kupwara, February 10, 2025:Continuing its drive against illegal activities, Police Post Kalaroos apprehended a bootlegger and recovered 37 bottles of illicit liquor during a naka checking.A police team from Police Post Kalaroos, while conducting naka checking near Fire Service Station Kalaroos, intercepted and apprehended an individual identified as Hilal Ahmad Bhat S/O Khizar Ahmad Bhat R/O Kalaroos.During the search, 37 bottles of illegal liquor were recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 37/2025 U/S 50 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kupwara, and further investigation has been set into motion.
