Srinagar, Feb, 17; As part of my commitment to the people of the Kreri Wagoora constituency, work has resumed on the Shah Canal in Klaantra after a long gap of 15 years. This vital project is set to transform the region’s irrigation infrastructure, benefiting thousands of farmers.
Authorities have urged all relevant departments to extend their full cooperation to ensure the timely and successful completion of the project. Once finished, the canal will provide much-needed irrigation facilities to over 60,000 people across Kandi, Klaantra, Kakothal, Sheikhpora, and Kawachak.
This initiative marks a major step in addressing long-standing water and agricultural challenges, promising a significant boost in productivity and livelihood security for local farmers. Stakeholders are encouraged to support and expedite the work to deliver lasting benefits to the community.
Stay updated as we continue our mission to strengthen the region’s agricultural backbone.
