Hatmullah: The road passing through Hatmullah was cut from the middle during the laying of pipelines under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). After the completion of the work, soil was filled in, and the road was leveled. However, despite assurances from the concerned department that the road would be properly repaired, recent heavy rains have exposed its poor condition.
During the rains, the area became difficult to traverse, creating serious challenges for both pedestrians and vehicles. The uneven surface and loose soil made commuting hazardous, increasing the risk of accidents. Local residents expressed their frustration, stating that authorities failed to restore the road properly despite repeated requests.
“The department had promised a proper repair, but nothing substantial has been done. Now, even a slight rainfall makes the road dangerous,” a resident said.
People are urging the administration to take immediate action to repair the road properly before any major accident occurs.
