Budgam, Feb 22: A blood donation camp was successfully organized by prominent social activist Muzamil Mehmood in collaboration with SDH Beerwah, with the support of District Hospital Budgam. The camp received an overwhelming response, collecting 50 pints of blood from donors across District Budgam.

The event was graced by the presence of BMO Beerwah, SHO Beerwah, senior medical professionals, and other dignitaries. Their participation emphasized the significance of such initiatives in strengthening the healthcare system and saving lives.

Speaking on the occasion, Muzamil Mehmood highlighted the importance of blood donation, describing it as the greatest service one can offer to humanity. He commended the donors for their selfless contribution and encouraged the youth to actively participate in such initiatives to help those in critical need.

BMO Beerwah also addressed the gathering, appreciating the donors for their generosity and acknowledging the efforts of the organizers.

Sajad Banday, one of the key contributors to the event, remarked that the camp provided an opportunity for people to make a meaningful and selfless contribution to society.

Additionally, a team of doctors conducted an awareness session on the importance of blood donation, emphasizing its role in saving lives and encouraging more people to become regular donors.

Such community-driven initiatives play a vital role in healthcare and demonstrate the collective strength of society in addressing medical emergencies.
