Kulgam, March 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Trust, Unit Kulgam, extended a helping hand to the needy by distributing over 100 food kits among underprivileged families, widows, and orphans in the district as part of its Ramadan welfare initiative.
The initiative aimed to ensure that struggling families could observe the holy month with dignity by providing essential food supplies. Trust representatives highlighted the significance of charity during Ramadan, emphasizing their commitment to supporting vulnerable sections of society.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the assistance, acknowledging the trust’s continuous humanitarian efforts. Notably, the food kits were also distributed among non-locals residing in the area, ensuring that no one in need was left without support.
