The interaction aimed at optimising the understanding and cooperation between the police and media, and for acknowledging the pivotal role that media plays in shaping public opinion and disseminating factual information.
During the meeting, SSP Baramulla appreciated the efforts of local media personnel in maintaining standards of responsible journalism and urged them to continue playing a constructive role in society.
He emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in addressing various social issues, countering misinformation, and promoting peace and communal harmony in the district.
SSP Baramulla also briefed the media on various initiatives undertaken by Baramulla Police in maintaining law and order, curbing drug menace, and ensuring public safety.
