Srinagar, May 6 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that innocent people should not suffer during the search for those behind the recent Pahalgam attack.
Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Omar said, “We all understand the situation. It will take time. But in our efforts to catch those responsible, we must make sure innocent people in Jammu & Kashmir are not harmed. We’ve shared our concerns on this.”
He urged security forces to carry out operations carefully to avoid causing trouble for the general public.
When asked about his recent meeting with the Prime Minister, Omar said, “Let that meeting stay private. I don’t want to share what we discussed.” (KNS)
