In a heartfelt statement, Mr. Bali said, “The continued ceasefire violations by Pakistan are not only a breach of international norms but also a brutal assault on the innocent civilians of our border areas. The deaths in Poonch have shaken us all. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, and I extend my deepest condolences to them.”

Mr. Bali urged the Government of India and the local administration to take swift action to ensure the safety of residents in border regions. He also called for enhanced medical aid, financial relief, and long-term rehabilitation plans for the affected families.

“The lives of our fellow citizens in border areas must be protected with all possible means. It is the duty of every government to stand with them in these critical times,” Bali added.

The SBSP also appealed to civil society and social organizations to come forward and support the affected families in every possible way. They are also planning to come up with different support initiatives for the affected area.
