Budgam, May 22: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Khansahib, Saif Ud Din Bhat, visited the far-flung Tehsil Khag in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district to listen to the grievances of local residents. During the visit, Bhat was accompanied by officials from various line departments, who took note of the issues raised by the people. The MLA directed the officials to begin framing projects aimed at resolving these concerns at the earliest.

Bhat assured the residents that several developmental initiatives would be undertaken in the near future. He announced that in the coming month, major roads in the area would be black-topped, and efforts would be made to resolve the water supply issue to provide clean drinking water to prevent waterborne diseases.

The residents of multiple villages in Khag Tehsil expressed their appreciation for the MLA’s visit, noting that it gave them an opportunity to voice their concerns directly. The MLA acknowledged their grievances and assured that appropriate action would be taken.

Speaking to the media, MLA Khansahab Saif Ud Din Bhat emphasized the importance of visiting constituencies and staying in touch with the public. He stated, “It is the duty of every elected representative to listen to the people’s concerns and work towards finding solutions. As a public servant, I am committed to reaching every corner of my constituency, as the people have entrusted me with their votes to address their issues.”
