The regular traffic jam on the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway at Singhpora has become a routine now since past one month.
The commuters claimed that the deep holes in the road due to the delayed construction work carried out by the JCC Company on the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway at Singhpora market has made it impossible for the passers-by to walk and commute.
The drivers said that it has become a routine now here at Singhpora to strand in the long ques and wait for the vehicles to cross one by one over the deep holes and many a times loaded vehicles have stuck for longer times on the road.
People are suffering from various diseases due to the mud & dust generated here. They alleged that the government and the company are not taking care of their lives.
Meanwhile, SDPO Pattan Police along with his team were seen helping out the stranded vehicles in the traffic jam and streamlining the traffuc movement smoothly.
