Sogam, June 6:Block Development Officer (BDO) Sogam, Wavoora, and Machil, Mr. Abdul Rashid Sheikh, has extended warm greetings to the people of the region on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
In his message, Mr. Sheikh conveyed heartfelt wishes for peace, prosperity, and communal harmony. He emphasized that Eid-ul-Adha, the festival of sacrifice, is a time to uphold the values of compassion, generosity, and selflessness. He urged the public to remember the underprivileged and extend a helping hand to those in need during the festive season.
“Eid-ul-Adha is not only a celebration but a reminder of our duties toward fellow human beings. May this festival strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and bring joy to every home,” he said.
He also prayed for the well-being and progress of the entire district, and hoped that the festival brings happiness and spiritual upliftment to all.
The BDO extended his greetings to the people of all three blocks — Sogam, Wavoora, and Machil — and wished them a joyous and safe Eid.
