Lalpora, June 21: A Special Lok Adalat dedicated to revenue cases was successfully organized today by the District Legal Services Authority at Tehsil Lalpora, drawing significant public participation and showcasing the true spirit of alternative dispute resolution.

Speaking to the media, Tehsildar Lalpora Dr Masroor Gayas (JKAS), stated that a total of eighteen revenue-related cases were taken up during the proceedings, out of which fifteen were amicably settled on the spot. He highlighted that these settlements were reached through mutual understanding between the parties, reflecting the essence of the Lok Adalat mechanism in delivering swift and harmonious justice.

A special bench comprised of Dr Masroor Gayas (JKAS),NT Khurhama Zakir Hussain,Advocate Ishfaq and mudasir Shah from Revenue department was constituted for the event, with Tehsildar Lalpora DR Masroor Gayas(JKAS) serving as the Presiding Officer. The proceedings were supported by members of the Bar Association Sogam, recognizing the judicial nature of the program. Officials from the Revenue Department were also present to facilitate the process.

The event was widely appreciated by participants and observers alike for its efficiency, inclusivity, and emphasis on peaceful dispute resolution. It marked yet another step forward in making justice more accessible and citizen-friendly at the grassroots level.
