Srinagar, June 22: DSP Aamir Amin Bhat (JKAS), a young and promising officer from Ujroo, Langate, passed away on Saturday due to a sudden cardiac arrest.

The news of his untimely demise has left colleagues and the local community in shock and grief.

Bhat, a member of the junior JKAS 2024 batch, was known for his dedication, sincerity, and strong commitment to public service. Despite being new to the force, he had quickly earned the respect and admiration of both colleagues and residents for his professionalism and integrity.

The tragic loss of DSP Aamir Amin Bhat has deeply saddened both the administration and the people of his native area.

Amir’s funeral prayers will be held at his native village in Ujroo Langate. (JKNS)
