Kupwara, July 18: Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Dr. Masrat Iqbal Wani, conducted a surprise late-night inspection at Sub District Hospital Kupwara to assess the functioning of the facility and ensure quality healthcare services.
During the visit, Dr. Wani interacted with patients and attendants to get firsthand feedback on the services being provided. He also reviewed the attendance of medical and paramedical staff on night duty and expressed satisfaction over their presence.
Emphasizing the importance of patient-friendly services, the CMO instructed the hospital staff to uphold the highest standards of care and maintain compassionate conduct while dealing with patients. “Ensuring quality healthcare and a humane approach to patient care should be the top priority,” Dr. Wani said during the interaction.
Dr. Wani was accompanied by Deputy CMO Kupwara, Medical Superintendent SDH Kupwara, and Block Medical Officer Kupwara.
The visit reflects the health department’s ongoing efforts to monitor healthcare delivery and reinforce accountability within the system.
