Bandipora, August 04: The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) held a mega joining program at Plan Bandipora, Ward No. 2, during a workers’ meeting attended by hundreds of enthusiastic supporters. The program witnessed the induction of at least 25 political workers from various parties into the SBSP fold.
The meeting was presided over by SBSP State President Vivek Bali, who was accompanied by several senior leaders, including North Kashmir Incharge Wajahat Raina, District President Bandipora Bashir Ahmed Buhroo, Tribal President Bandipora Nazir Ahmad Khan, Youth District President Bandipora Abuzar Nazir, Vice District President Mir Inam-ul-Haq, Social Media Incharge Abid, Youth District President Srinagar Bilal Ahmad Budoo, District General Secretary Srinagar Mir Shakir, and Organization Secretary Mohammad Tawfeeq Bhat. Several other senior party leaders and workers were also present.
The primary aim of the meeting was to engage with grassroots workers, listen to their grievances, and mobilize efforts for the upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB) and Panchayat elections. Speaking on the occasion, State President Vivek Bali, along with senior party leaders, warmly welcomed the new entrants and expressed confidence that their inclusion would significantly strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Addressing the gathering, District President Bandipora Bashir Ahmed Buhroo highlighted the dire condition of far-flung areas in Bandipora. He pointed out the lack of road connectivity, water supply, and healthcare facilities. He criticized previous leaders for deceiving the people and failing to work for their welfare. He assured party workers that their genuine grievances would be resolved on a priority basis, reiterating SBSP’s commitment to public welfare and development.
State President Vivek Bali, while addressing the workers, stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been let down by regional political parties. He emphasized SBSP’s mission to visit every corner of the Valley, listen to public grievances, and take those concerns to higher authorities for resolution.
Bali strongly criticized the current government and its MLAs for neglecting the people, stating that they have failed to deliver on their promises. He also slammed the PAGD (People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration) for allegedly failing to protect Article 370 and accused them of now trying to deceive the people again with false promises and vote-bank politics.
He further highlighted the issue of unemployment among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the NC-led government had promised one lakh jobs and free gas cylinders, but those promises remain unfulfilled, leaving the people disillusioned. “Our party’s main aim is to raise your voice and work to resolve your issues. SBSP stands with the people,” Bali added.
While speaking to the media, Vivek Bali stated that people across Jammu and Kashmir are now increasingly joining the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP). He said that today, at least 25 political workers from various parties joined hands with the SBSP, further strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
Responding to a question about the party’s stand on the restoration of Article 370, Vivek Bali criticized the Congress for misleading the public. He pointed out that Congress, which is now protesting for the restoration of Article 370, was in coalition with the National Conference during the last assembly elections. He accused them of failing to protect Article 370 when they had the opportunity and now attempting to deceive the people once again through such protests.
He reaffirmed that SBSP stands firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and with the nation. “This is PM Modi Ji’s government, and our party’s stand is aligned with his leadership and vision for the country,” he said
