Kulgam, Aug 5: A woman sustained injuries after being attacked by a bear in Chinigam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the woman was initially shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Yaripora for treatment and was later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for advanced medical care.
Concerned police have been informed, and efforts are underway to trace and capture the wild animal, they added.
General Public of the area have been advised to stay alert while childrens are advised to stay indoors during evening hours. (KNC)
