Budgam, Aug 0:A highly successful Mass Parent Meet-cum-Mega Educational Awareness Program was held at Government Girls Middle School, Alamnag Poshkar Khag, centered around the theme: “The Role of Teachers, Parents, and Students in Education.” The event saw enthusiastic participation from educators, parents, students, and key district education officials, underlining a strong collective commitment to strengthening the educational ecosystem.

The program was graced by Director of Education, Dr. G.N. Itoo, Joint Director of Education, Syed Shabir Ahmad, and the District Project Officer (DPO), who attended as Guests of Honour. Their presence reaffirmed the district administration’s unwavering support for educational initiatives and community engagement.

Addressing the media, Dr. G.N. Itoo emphasized the pivotal role of collaboration between teachers, parents, and students in achieving academic excellence and holistic development.

The day’s proceedings featured inspiring speeches, vibrant cultural performances, and interactive discussions, all aimed at highlighting the importance of shared responsibility in education. Speakers consistently stressed that effective communication and teamwork among all stakeholders are essential to shaping successful and well-rounded learners.

The commendable efforts of the staff and students of Government Girls Middle School were widely appreciated. The program was hailed as a milestone event, fostering awareness and significantly strengthening the partnership between the school, families, and the wider community.

Meanwhile, speaking to a correspondents regarding the demands of Mid-Day Meal (MDM) cooks, Director Education Dr. G.N. Itoo stated that the government is already aware of their concerns. He confirmed that the matter has been taken into consideration and appropriate steps are being looked into as per the government norms.
