Budgam August 11: A Grand Mass Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully organized at PM Shri School Khosapora and Government Middle School Khangripora, under Clusters Khosapora and Khangripora respectively. The events witnessed overwhelming participation from students, parents, educators, and the community, marking a significant step in strengthening the collaboration between schools and families.

Both events aimed to foster a deeper understanding between educators and parents, promote community involvement in education, and celebrate the multifaceted talents and achievements of the students.

The meetings were graced by the presence of Honourable MLA Khansahib, Advocate Saif Uddin Bhat, who served as the Chief Guest, along with Chief Education Officer Budgam, Ms. Rifat Qadri, at the Khangripora gathering. Their participation and encouraging words were a source of great inspiration for students, teachers, and parents alike.

As part of the PTM celebrations, students set up a range of stalls showcasing their creativity, innovation, and practical learning across various disciplines. Martial arts demonstrations and vibrant cultural programmes added color and energy to the event, highlighting the schools’ commitment to holistic education.

During the programme, resource persons presented the zonal education profile and outlined key interventions being implemented under the National Education Policy (NEP). They emphasized the transformative impact of these practices in reshaping the educational landscape of the region.

In a major boost to local education, Honourable MLA Saif Uddin Bhat announced funding support for various schools across Cluster Khosapora, reinforcing his commitment to improving educational infrastructure and resources.

To recognize outstanding efforts in the field of education, certificates of appreciation were presented to dedicated teachers, while students were felicitated for their exemplary performance in academics and extracurricular activities.

Addressing the gatherings, MLA Saif Uddin Bhat lauded the cultural and academic presentations by students, and praised the unwavering dedication of teachers, academic staff, and school administrators. He emphasized the importance of delivering a holistic education—one that integrates academic excellence with moral values, sports, arts, and essential life skills—to prepare youth for a dynamic and evolving future.

These successful PTMs reaffirmed the schools’ role as active community centers of learning and growth, where collaboration between parents, educators, and students continues to thrive.
