Traffic Suspended on Jammu-Kathua NHW After Sahar Khad Bridge Damage

Jammu, Aug 24: Traffic movement on the Jammu-Kathua National Highway was suspended on Saturday after one tube of the Sahar Khad bridge suffered damage due to incessant rains. Officials said that as a precautionary measure, the second tube of the bridge has also been closed for vehicular movement.

Authorities have urged commuters to avoid travel on the route unless absolutely necessary. The general public has been advised to check the latest status of the highway through the official Twitter and Facebook handles of the J&K Traffic Police before starting their journey.
