Lucknow, Aug 29: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) State President for Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, Vivek Bali, on Friday met with the party’s National President and Minister of Panchayati Raj of Uttar Pradesh, Om Prakash Rajbhar, in Lucknow. The meeting focused on organizational strategies, public issues, and preparations for upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the discussion, Bali raised several important concerns, including the devastating cloudburst in Kishtwar and the recent floods that wreaked havoc in various parts of Jammu region. Both leaders expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and property in these tragedies. They conveyed their solidarity with the affected families and emphasized the need for better disaster management and timely relief measures to prevent large-scale damage in the future.
Vivek Bali extended a formal invitation to Om Prakash Rajbhar to visit Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that Rajbhar’s visit would provide a major boost to the party’s presence and morale across the Union Territory. Bali also highlighted the increasing support for SBSP among the people of Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that the party is fully prepared to contest the upcoming assembly elections.
“Our party stands committed to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We are ready to contest elections across the Union Territory and ensure that the voices of common people are heard and represented,” Bali said.
Om Prakash Rajbhar appreciated Bali’s efforts in strengthening the party base in Jammu and Kashmir and assured him of full support from the national leadership. He also stressed the importance of expanding SBSP’s reach at the grassroots level, ensuring that the party’s ideology and programs connect directly with the public.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to building SBSP into a strong political force in Jammu and Kashmir, while simultaneously working towards addressing public grievances and socio-political challenges.
