Budgam, Sept 7: The Incentive Foster Foundation, under the mentorship and chairmanship of Mr. Junaid ul Islam, organized a one-day felicitation programme titled Teachers Honour Drive 2025. The event was aimed at honouring and celebrating the dedication of hardworking teachers who devote their lives to shaping future generations.

The primary objective of the drive was to recognize, appreciate, and encourage the best mentors and guides for their invaluable contributions to society.

On this occasion, teachers from various corners of the Valley were felicitated with certificates, medals, and other honours. In total, around 70 teachers were recognized for their outstanding commitment, excellence, and lifelong dedication to education.

The event witnessed the remarkable participation of 23 reputed institutions from across the Valley, including N.K.P.S, Star Public School, Ilm International, Little Angels, SAMIE, Mazhar-ul-Haq Boys Secondary School, and Shahi Hamdaan Public School.

The highlight of the programme was the keynote address by Mr. Junaid ul Islam, CEO of Incentive Foster Foundation, who emphasized the iconic role of teachers in shaping the moral, ethical, social, intellectual, and academic growth of students.

A galaxy of intellectuals, professors, and educationists also addressed the gathering, highlighting the selfless service and sacrifices of teachers. Mr. Mir Farooq Ahmad, in his speech, underlined the teacher’s role not just as an academic guide but also as a motivator who inspires students to excel in both academics and co-curricular activities.

Speakers further emphasized that the exemplary contribution of teachers as educators and resource persons has uplifted academic as well as co-curricular standards across the Valley. Their guidance has enabled students to actively participate in state-level programmes and competitions, bringing laurels to their respective institutions.

In addition to teachers, notable guests and members of the media fraternity were also felicitated with certificates and medals for their valuable support and contribution.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of teachers, institutions, and organizers in making the Teachers Honour Drive 2025 a historic and memorable step towards promoting the teaching community.
