Pattan, September 19, 2025: An important and highly constructive meeting was held today between the Traders Federation Pattan and the Media Association Pattan. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a wide range of issues affecting the local business community, media professionals, and the overall socio-economic environment of the Pattan area.

The meeting was jointly chaired by Mr. Nasir Bashir Shah, President of Traders Federation Patan, and Mr. Shabrooz Malik, President of Media Association Pattan. Both leaders played a key role in setting the agenda and emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between traders and media representatives. They highlighted that such interactions are essential to address public concerns, promote fair business practices, and ensure that the voices of local entrepreneurs are heard by decision-makers.

In their opening remarks, Mr. Nasir Bashir Shah spoke about the challenges faced by traders, including infrastructure issues, market regulation, and the need for better government support. He stressed that the traders of Pattan are committed to working within legal and ethical frameworks but require a more enabling environment to flourish. Mr. Shabrooz Malik echoed these concerns and assured the business community that the media would continue to play its role responsibly, highlighting the genuine issues of traders while promoting transparency and accountability.

Members of the Traders Federation Pattan took the opportunity to present a number of important points for consideration. These included calls for improved infrastructure in the main market areas, measures to prevent unfair trade practices, and the development of better public facilities to support commercial activities. The federation members also requested more frequent interactions with government departments to resolve their grievances in a timely manner.

The meeting concluded on a positive and cooperative note. Both presidents agreed that similar meetings would be held regularly to maintain open communication channels and to monitor progress on the issues raised. They thanked all participants for their presence and constructive contributions, assuring them that the concerns discussed during the meeting would be taken up with the relevant authorities for swift action.

This initiative represents a significant step toward building a strong partnership between traders and the media, fostering an environment of mutual trust and understanding.
