Udhampur, Nov 02: Udhampur Police on late night Saturday arrested three after a 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in a forested area near her residence under the jurisdiction of Police Post Round Domail in Udhampur district.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that, Acting promptly on the complaint, police arrested all three accused (name withheld).
The accused, all residents of Southan in Udhampur, have been taken into custody for further investigation, official sources added.
Police said a case has been registered, and the matter is under investigation to ensure strict action against the perpetrators. (KNC)
