Rajasthan, Nov 03: Every parent knows the morning chaos that comes with getting their child ready for school, waking them up, feeding them breakfast, getting them dressed, and finally convincing them to step out the door. While for some it is a routine, for others, it is a daily battle.

Now, a video is grabbing everyone’s attention online, showing how far one family had to go to get their child to school. The twist? The little boy, refusing to attend class, was literally carried on a cot all the way to the school gate, clinging to it for dear life.

Child Clings to Cot, Refuses to Go to School

The clip opens with a distant shot of two men carrying a village-style cot through an open field. As a man filming runs closer, it becomes clear that a small child in a school uniform is clutching the cot tightly, crying loudly. The men carrying him can’t help but laugh, while the person recording also finds the situation amusing.

By the time they reach the school gate, the boy is still holding on tightly to the cot, refusing to let go. Onlookers gather around, smiling at the unusual scene.

One of the men calls the teacher, who comes out to help. The teacher gently tries to pull the child’s hands away, speaking softly to calm him down, but the boy keeps crying and doesn’t move. The video ends with people laughing and trying to persuade the child amid the commotion outside the school.

The post’s caption explains, “The child started crying because he didn’t want to go to school. The parents gave him a little beating, then the child clung to the cot while crying, and whatever happened after that, you can see it too.”

Internet Reacts to the Funny Scene

The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) on October 31, has already crossed 4 lakh views and received hundreds of reactions.

Now I have Uploaded this Video On Facebook

A user wrote, “Shehron mein maine kabhi aise bachchon ko nahi dekha jo rote hue school jaate hain. Yeh sirf gaon mein hota hai. Kya reason hota hai ki bachche school nahi jaana chahte? Vidwaan log batayein.”

Another commented, “Iss phase se har Indian bachcha guzarta hai. Bachpan mein kaun school jaana chahta tha?”

A person revealed, “Yeh video Rajasthan ke Machadi gaon ka hai.”

Someone joked, “Aaj ke bachche school nahi jaana chahte. 90s ke time mein school ka matlab hota tha punishment, peepal ke danda aur murga ban kar pitai. Ab punishment nahi milti, fir bhi nahi jaate!”

Another user wrote, “Aisa bachpan mein kis kis ke saath hua hai? Sach batao!”

One person noticed a sweet detail, “Video ke 40-43 second mein dekho, ek aur bachcha school gate ko touch karke pranaam karta hai. Wow.”

And another praised the parents’ effort, “Good job. Maine dekha hai kuch parents apne bachchon ko padhai chhodne dete hain. Bache ko school ke darwaze tak pahunchana har maa-baap ki zimmedari hai.” (News18)
