India’s Union Home Minister Amit Shah has delivered a strong and uncompromising statement against Pakistan, accusing it of continuing to promote terrorism as a state policy.
He said, “Pakistan is still using terrorism as a tool of its foreign policy, but India will never compromise on its national security. We have responded firmly in the past and will continue to foil every conspiracy in the future
Amit Shah stated that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is improving rapidly and that terrorist networks are being dismantled at a fast pace. He added that every attempt of cross-border infiltration is being effectively neutralized by Indian security forces.
The Home Minister further asserted,
“New India does not remain silent anymore. Any misadventure from across the border will be replied to in the same language. Praising the efforts of the security forces, Amit Shah said that the Indian Army, BSF, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police are working together with full coordination to completely eliminate terrorism from the region.
He also warned Pakistan that the time has come to introspect, saying,
“India cannot be destabilized through terrorism. Pakistan must reconsider its policies.”
Following this statement, security agencies across border areas have been put on high alert.
