Jammu, 25 Jan: Jammu witnessed a significant political development on Sunday afternoon as dozens of workers from various political parties joined the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), giving a major boost to the party’s presence in the Jammu region.
The joining ceremony was held in the presence of SBSP State President Vivek Bali, who was accompanied by District Secretary Baramulla Ghulam Nabi Najar, District Vice President Kulgam Bashir Ahmad Shah, Raj Kumar Constituency President RS Pora Raj Kumar, Constituency Vice President Rajash Kumar, youth leader Sonu Kumar, and several other senior party workers. The programme was organised by Raj Kumar and Rajash Kumar, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from local supporters.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, SBSP State President Vivek Bali expressed confidence that their induction would further strengthen the party at the grassroots level across Jammu. He said the growing support reflects people’s trust in SBSP’s vision and commitment to public welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Bali stated that the main objective of the programme was to gear up for the upcoming elections. He asserted that the SBSP is fully prepared to contest the elections with a strong organisational base, dedicated workers, and a clear agenda focused on the needs of common people. He added that the joining of dozens of political workers from different parties would significantly enhance SBSP’s outreach and influence across Jammu.
Bali strongly criticised the National Conference and the BJP, accusing both parties of ignoring the genuine issues of the people of Jammu and failing to work for their welfare. He said that people now understand that only the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party is consistently working for the upliftment of the poor and common citizens. He added that as people become aware of the party’s vision and policies, they are increasingly joining SBSP, which is a positive sign for the party’s growing strength in Jammu and Kashmir.
The SBSP State President also criticised Shiv Sena (Uddhav) State President Manish Sahni, alleging that he was attempting to divide people on communal lines by creating Hindu Muslim tensions. Bali said that SBSP strongly condemns such actions, adding that Sahni’s recent visit to Gajjar Nagar created unnecessary apprehension among people, who felt that communal harmony was being disturbed.
Vivek Bali further thanked the Jammu Police for taking immediate action in the matter, stating that such timely steps are essential to maintain peace, unity, and brotherhood in the region. He reiterated that SBSP believes in inclusive politics and remains committed to safeguarding social harmony while working for the welfare and development of all sections of society.
