Srinagar, Aug 2: Two youths were injured in an alleged knife attack near Polo View Market in the Kothibagh area of Srinagar on Sunday evening, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that a police party from Police Station Kothibagh shifted the injured to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, after they were allegedly attacked with a knife by a known person.
The injured have been identified as 18 and 19 year old, both residents of Chinar Colony, Bemina.
Officials said both youths sustained multiple injuries in the attack. They are undergoing treatment at SMHS Hospital, and their condition is stated to be stable.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the attack. (JKNS)
