Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance and Accounts Society (JAKFAS) has expressed its profound gratitude to Shri Atal Dulloo, IAS, Chief Secretary, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, and Shri Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department, UT of J&K, for their visionary leadership and steadfast support in facilitating the promotion of officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Finance and Accounts Service.
The Society stated that this landmark decision has fulfilled a long-pending and genuine aspiration of the Finance and Accounts fraternity. The promotions have addressed prolonged stagnation in the cadre and have significantly boosted the morale of officers, reaffirming their faith in a transparent and responsive administrative system.
JAKFAS acknowledged that the timely intervention, encouragement, and unwavering support extended by the Chief Secretary and the Financial Commissioner were instrumental in bringing the matter to its logical conclusion. The Society also appreciated the sensitivity and commitment displayed by the leadership of the Finance Department in recognizing the legitimate career progression of the officers.
