Anantnag, Aug 11: A 20-year-old youth died after his motorcycle collided with an Ignis car in the Badoora area of Achabal in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries in the collision and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Achabal for treatment.
He said that despite medical aid, the youth later succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Rayees Ahmad Gadda (20), son of Shabir Ahmad Gadda, a resident of Dangpora Marhama.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident.—(KNO)
