Poonch, Aug 15: A major tragedy was averted after security forces on Saturday busted a terror hideout in Draba area of Surankote sector in Poonch district and recovered a cache of explosives and ammunition.
Officials told GNS that a joint operation was launched by 16 RR along with SOG Bufliaz and 38 Bn CRPF in Draba following specific inputs.
During the operation, forces recovered one gamla-type IED, one gool-type IED, four small IEDs, one Motorola wireless set, and seven AK-47 rounds.
Further details are awaited as search operations in the area continue.(GNS)
