Jammu, Aug 28: Army foiled an infiltration attempt from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu’s Rajouri sector on Friday.
A source told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that soldiers noticed suspicious movement of an infiltrator along the LoC this morning. The intruder was challenged. “He opened fired which was retaliated to. The infiltrator is believed to be hiding in the area. Massive operations have been launched to spot the intruder and his accomplices,” the source added.
“Searches are underway in the Rumlidhara area of Nowshera and senior officers are monitoring the situation,” he said—(KNO)
