Bandipora, August 28: In a significant step towards promoting inclusive education, Shehlat Foundation distributed stationery items worth ₹80,000 among 150 deserving students in Bandipora during a simple but meaningful function.
The stationery kits were formally handed over by Chairman Mohammad Rafiq Lone and Vice Chairman Ghulam Abbas (IIS), Former Director, CBSE, who reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to supporting students from economically weaker sections. Another group of girl students received the stationery items from Nissar Ahmad Jan, District Representative of Shehlat Foundation, Bandipora, and a highly respected former teacher.
Speaking on the occasion, the Foundation representatives emphasized that the initiative aims to ensure that financial constraints do not become a barrier to education. They said the Foundation remains committed to empowering underprivileged students by providing them with essential educational resources and creating equal opportunities for academic success.
The beneficiaries and their parents expressed heartfelt gratitude to Shehlat Foundation for the timely support, describing the initiative as a meaningful contribution towards their educational journey.
