Anantnag October 23:- Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Tazayun Mukhtar JKAS, today visited various sports facilities in Anantnag district to review the status of ongoing infrastructure development works and assess the progress of projects being executed under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) initiative.
During the visit, the Secretary inspected various Sports facilities being developed in the district which include Sports Stadium Mehndi Kadal , Sports Playfield Monghal, Multi-Sports Stadium Nillandrusoo, Sports Facility Tarbal and Playfield at Jablipora. During the visit Secretary reviewed the progress of ongoing works, assessed the ground level operational requirements and interacted with the fieladstaff.
The visit underscores the administration’s focus on ensuring the quality and timely completion of key sports projects. These initiatives aim to provide local youth and aspiring athletes with modern, high-standard sports facilities to foster athletic talent and enable performance excellence across state and national levels.
Reiterating the administration’s vision, the J&K Sports Council emphasizes its continuous commitment to expanding access to quality sports infrastructure across the Union Territory.
