Srinagar, Oct 24: The weak system over the Western Himalayas might give very light rain or snowfall in some pockets of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh during the next 48 hours.
Kashmir Weather, independent weather forecaster, has predicted that a Western Disturbance as a trough in mid tropospheric westerlies is going to cause light rain or snowfall at a few places of Jammu and Kashmir during next 48hrs. No major rain or snowfall activity is likely anywhere.
Srinagar recorded a minimum night temperature of 2.7 degrees Celsius and was the coldest night of the season so far.
Jammu City recorded a low temperature of 15.6 degrees Celsius, 1.1 degrees below normal.
