Subject:    Recruitment of Class-IV posts advertised in the year 2006 vide advertisement notice No. 04/DDCB of 2006 dated 18.10.2006.

                   Whereas, in compliance to the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme court in the SLP(C) No.707/2017 titled State of Jammu & Kashmir V/S Nazir Ahmad Yatoo, the fresh selection process was initiated for the Advertisement Notice No. DCB/04 of 2006 dated 18.06.2004;

Whereas, some deficiencies were found in the application forms and accordingly vide Notification No: DCB/N/Estt/516-23 dated 08.09.2020, the candidates were asked to submit the deficient documents;

Whereas, out of 1435 only 449 candidates submitted the deficient documents within the stipulated time frame;

                   Whereas, the shortlisting of the candidates was done as per the criteria laid down by the selection committee constituted vide Order No. DCB/N/Estt/645-48 dated 23.10.2020;

Whereas, the shortlist of the candidates was published in the local dailies “Roshan Kashmir” and “Tameel-i-Irshad” through information department vide Notification No DCB/N/Estt/655-60 dated 28.10.2020 which was published on 30.10.2020;

                   Whereas, while comparing the published list with the original shortlist, it was observed that the names of some candidates who otherwise are qualifying for shortlisting are missing in the published list;

Whereas, after cross checking the original shortlist of the candidates, it was found that during conversion of file from excel to word format, the technical errors have occurred which has resulted the replacement of the original file by an uncorrected file.

                   Now, in view of the above Notification No. DCB/N/Estt/655-60 dated 28.10.2020 published in the local daillies – “Roshan Kashmir” and “Tameel-i-Irshad”, is hereby withdrawn with immediate effect and consequently corrected notification alongwith the shortlist and interview dates is published afresh for information of the shortlisted candidates to appear for interview as per the dates shown below:-

 No individual call letter shall be sent to the candidates. The shortlist is also available on http//:www.baramulla.nic.in and also on the notice board of the DC Office.
