A joint team of the officers of PDA, Wild life, Forest, Revenue, Police and Municipal Committee Saturday launched an anti-encroachment drive at Mamal Pahalgam and retrieved illegally encroached110 kanals of Forest Land.
The CEO PDA Mushtaq Ahmad Semnani, DFO Wildlife Rouf Ahmad Zargar, Range officer Forest Range Pahalgam, Tehsildar Pahalgam and other senior officers of the concerned departments were present during the demolition drive.
The team demolished illegal huts, Dokas and fencing on the said land. They said on the occasion that the anti encroachment drive shall continue in future too and all the state/ Forest land will be retrieved
