Awami National Conference (ANC) Vice President, Muzaffar Shah Friday lashed out at BJP National Spokesperson for claiming that Article 370 can’t be restored and it has buried deep inside the earth.
“Who is the Shahnawaz Hussain to decide on the fate of Article 370 when the matter is subjudice. The matter lies in the Supreme Court and the court will decide about it. It is unfortunate that such an irresponsible statement has come from BJP’s Shahnawaz Hussain,” Muzafar Shah told KNT.
He said Article 370 is alive and will remain so.
“I appeal the Supreme Court to take suo motto cognizance of the claim made by Shah Nawaz about the Article 370,” Shah said adding that the remarks of Shahnawaz about Article 370 tantamount to contempt of Court.
Pertinently, BJP National Spokesperson Shahnawaz while addressing a press conference said that Article 370 is a history, buried under the earth and whatever is buried never gets life again. KNT
