Srinagar : A mentally unsound man was killed in a road accident in Dangerpora area of Sumbal Sub-division in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday evening.
Sources told news agency KDC that a 55-year-old mentally unsound man identified as Ali Mohammad Dar son of Abli Dar , a resident of Dangerpora village was hit by a speedy bike bearing registration number JK-01T 1537, leaving both biker as well as man critically injured.
Duo were immediately shifted to nearby hospital where doctors declared Ali Mohammad brought dead while as the biker was referred to SMHS Hospital for specialzed treatment.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have set investigations into motion
