Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested two drug peddlers near Toll Plaza Chersoo Awantipora.The two arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Beigh resident of Malpora Khag Budgam and Mohd Iqbal Mir “`resident of Iskanderpora Beerwah Budgam and were arrested while they were travelling in Santro Vehicle JK01N-4631.
400 grams of contraband substances suspected to be charas was recovered from their possession.
The Vehicle used for the commission of the offence has also been seized. “`
Case FIR Number 179 /2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
