Army once again proved that they are a true friend of AWAM in Kashmir by immediately responding to a SOS call when an vehicle got toppled after skidding off the road near Hirri on Kupwara- Chowkibal Highway.
The incident took place at around 5PM on 14 Dec when an Hyundai i20 (DL 8C AA 6408) driven by Mr Manzur Ali , Resident of Trehgam, lost control & skidded off the road and toppled. Fortunately the driver escaped without any serious injuries. The Army was contacted at 5:15 PM by Mr Aslam Shiekh of Trehgam after which it acted swiftly and the Veh was recovered by 6:45 PM.
Mr Manzur & his father expressed their deep gratitude towards Army and thanked Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion/ Hajipir Bde/ Vajr Div for their prompt help and support not just to them but also to entire AWAM of Kupwara whenever called upon to do so.
