Anantnag 26 Dec: People from Downipawa, Anantnag on Saturday stages protest against the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department for failing to provide them drinking water.
Scores of women from Downipawa assembled on road and blocked.
They told that we face problems due to immense shortage of drinking water we have approached many times to concerned authorities nothing was done on ground level.
The protesters blocked the Achabal Anantnag road leading to a long and messy traffic jam on the road.
