Budgam : A 13 year old boy who had gone missing last week was found dead by locals in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district today.
Shahid Farooq Malik, a class 7th student had gone missing last week from his locality Shah Mohalla Soibugh area of Budgam.
Family members had lodged a missing report, however, today the dead body of the body was found by the locals nearby his secluded house.
One of the family members of the victim told News Agency Kashmir News Trust that Shahid bore some torture marks around his neck and it seems a ‘hanging’ case.
Police have sent the body for the post mortem.
Police sources said that everything will be clear once the postmortem report arrives.
Meanwhile, family has demanded thorough investigation into the death of the minor boy.
