Anantnag 18 March 2021,: The low lying live wires over trees and ordinary poles are posing a serious threat to the inhabitants of Kachnard Mohalla of Narsanger village of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag District.
The locals have expressed strong resentment against PDD as the low lying wire may cause a serious damage to the property.
The locals alleged that the number of attempts has been made to draw the attention of PDD to replace the wooden poles but no one is paying attention to our cries a local said.
It is very sad that we are paying Rs 373 per month being from poor families but still PDD department failed to install electric poles in the area. Said residents
The local population appealed to the top officials of the power department to intervene in this regard. So that no accident occurs in the area.
While contacting PDD officials , They said that we will look into to it and the old poles will be replaced with new ones.
