Srinagar Police Tracks Down Missing Doda Duo

Srinagar, Mar 21: Srinagar Police has located whereabouts of two Doda youths, who according to a police statement, had gone missing from their homes on last Sunday.

The summer-capital police after receiving information from its counterpart in Doda about missing of two youths namely Bilal Ahmed Mir son of Nazir Ahmed Mir resident of Dalori Sonoo Gandoh Doda and Shezan Ahmed Mir son of Mohammad Abass Mir son of Kota Gandoh Doda from Bhaderwah since March 14, 2021 and may have travelled towards Srinagar started investigations into it, a statement issued to Global News Service (GNS) maintains.

“After collection of details from police station concerned, the police here took assistance of the modern scientific aids and technical analysis of the information lead to track their location successfully from Nehru Park in Srinagar”, the statement reads.

After completion of all legal formalities both the boys were handed over to the Doda police, the statement reads.

Meanwhile families of the duo have hailed the role of police department besides conveying their special gratitude to Srinagar police for the latter’s timely help.

After completing legal formalities at respective Police Station, both the boys have been handed over to Doda Police.(GNS)
