Anantnag, Mar, 24:The Government Forces on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a man with Arms and ammunition in the Gadol area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s (Anantnag) district.
An official told that 19 RR of Indian Army and SOG Kokernag following an input, stopped a Tata Sumo bearing the registration number JK 03 B 0733 at Senzi Gadol area and started checking the vehicle.
During the checking of the vehicle, the joint Forces recovered Arms and ammunition including 12 rounds and a hand grenade from the vehicle after which the driver of the vehicle was arrested.
The arrested driver has been identified Waseem Ahmad son of Abdul Qudoos Mugloo, a resident of Senzi Gadol. The vehicle has also been taken into possession by the Forces.
