Anantnag, Mar, 27: Police on saturday claimed to have arrested a bottlegger in Verinag and recovered 38 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession
A Police official told that Police party headed by Sho dooru under supervision of Dysp Dooru recived a specific information from a reliable source and raided a house in Verinag area of South Kashmirs Anantnag district.
“During the search, 38 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of Mohd Sadiq Shaksaz son of Ghulam Hassan Shaksaz a resident of Shakshaz Mohallah Verinag,” an official added;
In this regard police have registered Case under Fir no 19/2021 U/S 50 Excise act and further investigation have been initiated.
